Justice For Nala

Nala was a beautiful hippo of a dog that was very much loved by the people that saved her and followed her story. Two years ago Nala was found in a shelter after being hit in the head with a hammer by her owners. The shelter put a call out to rescues and Furever Bully Love saved her and rehabilitated her for more than 1.5 years. In August 2021 the hope she would have a forever home with a family was crushed within days of their trial overnight stay. They claimed to have lost her but that story was soon dismissed when, with the help of authorities it was found she had been killed the day after her 3 day temporary stay. A community is heartbroken, changes must be made, new laws will be created and a database for animal cruelty cases and people accused of hurting animals will be her legacy. Nala is no longer with us but her story and journey will change the future for so many.
